As the third private economic zone of the country, Aman Economic Zone was inaugurated by H.E. Sheikh Hasina, Prime Minister, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh along with 10 other private economic zones.

As H.E. Sheikh Hasina said, “we don’t want to do business; rather we want to create scope for the business people as we want (rapid) development of the country”, Aman Economic Zone is aiming overall development

Aman Economic Zone has gross area of 150 acres (approx.). Aman Group is working as both investor and developer of the economic zone. The zone has all the potentials to accelerate into a successful economic zone with a few major facilities from Aman Group being already in place there.

By far the largest state-of-the-art cement factory in the country, Aman Cement Mills Unit-2, has been established within AEZ premises. The others notable concerns are;

  • Aman Foods & Beverage Ltd
  • Aman Feed Unit-2 Ltd (for Poultry, Cattle & Fish Feed)
  • Aman Shipyard Ltd. (ongoing projects)
  • Aman Steel Mills Ltd
  • Aman Power Plant Ltd
  • Aman Green Energy Ltd. (upcoming projects)

The specialized entity is open for any other industries by local & foreign investors.

Staying in line with the promise of “Working tirelessly to build Bangladesh”, Aman Group has taken the bold initiative of establishing Aman Economic Zone (AEZ) and successfully got the license to operate it. The zone will provide all its member industries with ease of doing business in terms of access to infrastructure, energy, and a range of financial benefits.
